Sunflowers in an Old Man's Arms

Offerings of light
Shown through my life
Each season's gifts well-aged

From the outstretched limbs
Of my old-man self
Solar wonders staged

All I have, I give
Take some

You too can see more clearly
Feel more dearly
More fully thaw
be in awe

You need not age as long as I
Till sunflowers fill your arms
In an offering of awe

Now sprouting
From an old man's heart
